“Sometimes a design presents itself to you finished and complete. You recognise you can’t improve on nature, and you shouldn’t even try. And the Wild Irish Rose means so much to people just the way it is. So I had very little to do with this collection except to figure out how to portray the delicate structure of a wild Irish rose in precious metal. I found that using 9 carat rose gold elements in the centre drew the eye much in the way the wild rose does when it offers itself from the brambles and blackthorn hedgerows around the lanes of County Sligo.
1.2cm diameter. Hallmarked sterling silver earrings on handcrafted silver wire. Solid 9 Carat gold elements are hand soldered into the centre.
