Bean Rí­ pendant is from the award winning collection in Sterling Silver and Gold by Martina Hamilton. Inspired by the mythological warrior queens of ancient Ireland and modelled on bronze age spear heads at the Irish National Museum, the collection was named best jewellery design by DCCOI at Showcase Ireland.

About the Artist

Jewellery designer, artist and founder of The Cat & The Moon, Martina Hamilton has been creating award-winning collections from her Sligo studio for over thirty years. Her work is inspired by the wild beauty of Ireland’s northwest coast—shaped by light, landscape and a deep sense of place.

Every design begins with her connection to the landscape. The movement of the tide, the texture of stone, the shifting light—all find quiet expression in her jewellery, handcrafted in precious metals and made to be worn, cherished and passed on.
