Bee Happy, a handcrafted, unique design, created entirely in Ireland by Jane Walsh in her studio in County Westmeath.


Inspired by bright explosions of colour, the brighter the better, these wonderfully innovative creations are the perfect gift for a friend or loved one. Designed to last, Jane uses reclaimed resin buttons to create her work. Simply inspired by colour, life is too short to be dull according to Jane!
Presented in a white wood frame measuring 15.5cm wide by 20.5cm height.

About the Artist

Jane Walsh is the creative artist behind the vibrant colourful universe that is Button Studio.

Jane has always been moved and inspired by colour and the effect that it can have on our state of mind. Button Studio was created out of this passion and a love for transforming everyday objects into pieces of art, to preserve and enhance them, give them a new and unexpected role in the world. For Jane, everyday objects will mean any object that has found its way into a person’s heart.

Jane as a particular attachment to buttons, to their colour, their range of sizes and shapes, and how they are connected to us in all sorts of ways. Buttons can hold lots of different meanings – from the castaway buttons in a family’s old tin, to buttons on newborn’s baby-grow or on your favourite jumper. Buttons are a little piece of our life story that might otherwise be lost… until Jane gets her hands on them in the Button Studio, and places them somewhere where they can be treasured forever.
