Almost six thousand years ago, some of Ireland's earliest settlers etched a series of delicate circles into the roof slab of Listoghil dolmen at Carrowmore County Sligo, symbols aligning with sunrise breaking through the valley of nearby mountains on the first and last days of winter.

About the Artist

Jewellery designer, artist and founder of The Cat & The Moon, Martina Hamilton has been creating award-winning collections from her Sligo studio for over thirty years. Her work is inspired by the wild beauty of Ireland’s northwest coast—shaped by light, landscape and a deep sense of place.
