About the Artist

Grange Craft is a Family run business established in 1971 by Brian & Rose Cubitt, when Rosemary used her creative flair to start a craft business from the kitchen table while she was bringing up her children. Brian was the driving force in selling and started bringing Rose’s products to craft shops around Ireland and the business quickly grew from there.

The Husband and wife team got into business when many Irish souvenirs were plastic Leprechauns and Rosemary saw a gap in the market for the developing sophisticated craft souvenir industry. In the beginning there were Irish dolls, copper bracelets, tweed tea cosies and the all important St Bridget's Crosses.

Over the past 50 years Grange Craft has expanded the business worldwide and has established links with Irish shops in Europe, USA & Australia.

The company has steadily grown over the years and we now have a large customer base. The business started as a hobby, but over the years has blossomed into a substantial business. Their eldest daughter Rachel Cubitt joined the company in 1990 having completed business courses, which complemented her understanding of the developing business. Rachel has a keen understanding for the market.

Emma Cubitt Studied Painting & Ceramics and has worked in the art and craft field in different areas since leaving college, and will bring a new perspective to the company.

In November 2007 Rachel and Emma took over the business. They have introduced new products and developed the Internet business.

Still a family run business, they pride themselves in attention to detail and customer care.
It is very exciting time for Grange Crafts and Brian, Rose, Rachel & Emma look forward to another successful 50 years.
