Ériu is the ancient goddess of the Tuatha Dé Danann who gave her name as Éire and Erin to the island of Ireland.

This stunning petite pendant in circlet diadem form is textured to reflect Ireland's rugged coastline, enclosing a perfect circle, an empty space, until the pendant is worn, whereupon the wearer, like Ériu, becoming the island of Ireland is embodied within.

About the Artist

Jewellery designer, artist and founder of The Cat & The Moon, Martina Hamilton has been creating award-winning collections from her Sligo studio for over thirty years. Her work is inspired by the wild beauty of Ireland’s northwest coast—shaped by light, landscape and a deep sense of place.
