This intriguing picture frame is inscribed with the word 'Fàilte' meaning Welcome from Ireland's Ancient language: Ogham.

Ogham is the first known Celtic script found carved on standing stones throughout the Irish landscape. Ethel Kelly is behind these stunning Ogham Wish frames, crafting them in her workshop in Knockcroghery, Co. Roscommon, Ireland. Each one is unique as they are hand painted on handmade paper and framed in a quality black wooden frame.

Fáilte - Welcome is a wonderful hand-crafted house-warming gift, and can work harmoniously with other Ogham Wishes!

Frame size: 11"x6"

About the Artist

Ethel Kelly, the creative behind the iconic Irish wall art brand Ogham Wish, started her business more than 20 years ago. Starting from scratch, but with an idea that was so immediately appealing, and perfectly executed, very little time elapsed before Ogham Wish receiving multiple craft industry wards awards including Best Craft Company and Hottest Product on multiple occasions. When Ethel isn't brainstorming about new products and working in her workshop in Co. Roscommon, she can probably be found going for walks with her family.

Sarah, Ethel's daughter is following in her mother's footsteps and learning the family trade. Sarah has been an integral part of the family brand Ogham Wish from a young age. Since graduating from University, Sarah returned to bring new life into Ogham Wish with fresh products and marketing ideas.

The Ogham Wish workshop is located in the heart of the midlands of Ireland, in a gorgeous village called Knockcroghery. It is on the site of an old Claypipe Factory, where everything is made by with the help of an amazing local team.
