Sligo Ireland, she paints landscapes plain air in oil , watercolour, and acrylic paint inspired by her surroundings . About the Artist

Martha Van Der Meulen is a dutch artist living in Knocknageeha, County Sligo. Her works are inspired by the direct surrounding; The North Western Landscape, the Atlantic Ocean, lough Gill, Slish wood, Union wood and Hazel Wood.

The works have over the years developed from impressionistic towards abstracts. The watercolours
are painted across Sligo in different locations. A variety of the work in oil, watercolour, acrylic and other materials can be viewed on www.marthavandermeulen.ie and you are welcome to visit the studio on appointment.

Martha works in studio Knocknageeha, Ballintogher. It is a creative hub open to the community for art workshops, painting projects and a space for inspiration.
