These lapis lazuli gold earrings are handmade with lapis lazuli round gemstones and turquoise faceted rondelles. Lapis lazuli has a beautiful rich navy colour with gold specks running through it. Between the gemstones are placed gold vermeil beads. The gemstones are wire-wrapped and attached to the gold vermeil oval long earwires. 

Gold Vermeil refers to a specific type of gold plating. The base metal is sterling silver. To be classified as gold vermeil, the piece must have a substantial gold layer, typically around 2.5 microns thick, ensuring a rich and enduring gold finish.
