Ireland's contemporary and most ancient cultures are brought together by contemporary Jewellery Designer Martina Hamilton. The Heavens Pendant draws inspiration from one of the most memorable love poems by W B Yeats, merged with 6000 year old motifs for the sun, moon and our neighbouring planets that were carved into rock at sites such as Newgrange, Knowth and Dowth.

Slightly domed to gather and reflect light this is a stunningly elegant contemporary designer pendant, with subtle special meanings that makes it totally unique.

About the Artist

Jewellery designer, artist and founder of The Cat & The Moon, Martina Hamilton has been creating award-winning collections from her Sligo studio for over thirty years. Her work is inspired by the wild beauty of Ireland’s northwest coast—shaped by light, landscape and a deep sense of place.

Every design begins with her connection to the landscape. The movement of the tide, the texture of stone, the shifting light—all find quiet expression in her jewellery, handcrafted in precious metals and made to be worn, cherished and passed on.
