Hallmarked Sterling Silver Jewellery Pendant by Martina Hamilton

From The Cloths of Heaven Collection by Martina Hamilton comes this beautiful pendant in hallmarked Sterling Silver.

Inspirations is drawn from the famous love poem by W B Yeats He Wishes for the Cloths of Heaven. But equally there is reference in this collection to elements of Ireland's cultural history dating back over 6000 years, where astral symbols for the sun, moon and stars, were carved into stones at sites such as Loughcrew, Newgrange and Knowth. The independent threading of the charms on the sterling silver snake chain, allows for the elliptical motion of the two silver circles, which can also be worn independently.

About the Artist

Jewellery designer, artist and founder of The Cat & The Moon, Martina Hamilton has been creating award-winning collections from her Sligo studio for over thirty years. Her work is inspired by the wild beauty of Ireland’s northwest coast—shaped by light, landscape and a deep sense of place.
