Handmade Irish Designer drop earrings in solid 9 Carat Gold by Martina Hamilton.

Inspired by a timeless love poem by W.B. Yeats 'He wishes for the Cloths of Heaven' the Heaven Collection is a long standing favourite suite of designer jewellery from the Martina Hamilton studio.

The slender elegant shape of these drop earrings is accentuated by subtle markings, inspired by astral runes carved into rocks and stones at Ireland's 6000 year old ancient Neolithic sites.

So this collection carries a timeless message, a wish for the sun, moon and stars which the poet wanted to capture from the heavens for his beloved.

Understated subtle styling, and contemporary romance is at the heart of this piece and it's collection. Designed and made in the West of Ireland, with love and meaning that crosses all boundaries.

About the Artist

Jewellery designer, artist and founder of The Cat & The Moon, Martina Hamilton has been creating award-winning collections from her Sligo studio for over thirty years. Her work is inspired by the wild beauty of Ireland’s northwest coast—shaped by light, landscape and a deep sense of place.

Every design begins with her connection to the landscape. The movement of the tide, the texture of stone, the shifting light—all find quiet expression in her jewellery, handcrafted in precious metals and made to be worn, cherished and passed on.
