This beautiful pendant found its inspiration in the timeless poem by W B Yeats "He Wishes for The Cloths Of Heaven". In the poem Yeats seeks to draw down the light of the moon and the stars and sun to spread at the feet of his beloved.

Martina has based the sun, moon and stars etched into this piece on 6000 year old stone carvings found at Ireland's Neolithic sites such as Newgrange, Knowth and Loughcrew.

A symbol of passionate timeless love the this piece is a very special gift for a loved one.

About the Artist

Jewellery designer, artist and founder of The Cat & The Moon, Martina Hamilton has been creating award-winning collections from her Sligo studio for over thirty years. Her work is inspired by the wild beauty of Ireland’s northwest coast—shaped by light, landscape and a deep sense of place.
