Handmade Solid Gold Petite Circle Pendant, by Martina Hamilton.

Inspired by the W.B. Yeats poem,'He wishes for the Cloths of Heaven', the Heaven Collection is inspired by the timeless romance of some of Ireland's greatest love poetry, alongside elements of a truly ancient Irish heritage, combined in an modern and elegant design.

A petite circle of solid gold is etched with a wish for the sun, moon and stars poet W B Yeats desired to capture for his beloved one of his most treasured lover poems 'He wishes for the Cloths of Heaven'.

But the symbols carry and even more timeless relevance as they are modeled on the stone carvings found at Irish Neolithic sites in Ireland such as Newgrange, Knowth and Loughcrew.

Understated subtle styling, contemporary poetic romance and embodiment's of the very beginnings of Irish culture are at the heart of this piece. It is truly something special.

Designed and made in the West of Ireland, with love and meaning that crosses all boundaries.

About the Artist

Jewellery designer, artist and founder of The Cat & The Moon, Martina Hamilton has been creating award-winning collections from her Sligo studio for over thirty years. Her work is inspired by the wild beauty of Ireland’s northwest coast—shaped by light, landscape and a deep sense of place.

Every design begins with her connection to the landscape. The movement of the tide, the texture of stone, the shifting light—all find quiet expression in her jewellery, handcrafted in precious metals and made to be worn, cherished and passed on.
