Handmade Irish Designer petite stud heart earrings in hallmarked sterling silver by Martina Hamilton.

Inspired by a timeless love poem by W.B. Yeats, He wishes for the Cloths of Heaven, the Heaven Collection is a long standing favourite suite of designer jewellery from the Martina Hamilton studio.

The petite, slightly curved shape of these stud earrings carry subtle markings inspired by truly ancient megalithic stone carvings associated with suns, stars and planets. They have a hidden message, a wish for the sun, moon and stars which poet W B Yeats wanted to capture from the heavens for his beloved in his much loved poem.

About the Artist

Jewellery designer, artist and founder of The Cat & The Moon, Martina Hamilton has been creating award-winning collections from her Sligo studio for over thirty years. Her work is inspired by the wild beauty of Ireland’s northwest coast—shaped by light, landscape and a deep sense of place.

Every design begins with her connection to the landscape. The movement of the tide, the texture of stone, the shifting light—all find quiet expression in her jewellery, handcrafted in precious metals and made to be worn, cherished and passed on.
