Inspired by the poem by W B Yeats He Wishes for the Colts of Heaven, Martina Hamilton has created this stunning double heart pendant. The two hearts are eternally intertwined to symbolise unbreakable bonds of love and affection. They are carried on a sleek beautiful hallmarked sterling silver snake chain of the highest quality.

Yeats wished he could bring the Heavens embroidered cloths down here to earth for his beloved, and Martina has sought to do the same by embossing each heart with astral motifs for the sun, moon, planets and stars that are found etched onto stones at Ireland's famous 6000 year old archaeological sites such as Newgranges and Knowth.

Jewellery designer, artist and founder of The Cat & The Moon, Martina Hamilton has been creating award-winning collections from her Sligo studio for over thirty years. Her work is inspired by the wild beauty of Ireland’s northwest coast—shaped by light, landscape and a deep sense of place.
