About the Artist

Born in Dublin, she graduated from the School of Art & Design in Mountjoy Square, Dublin. She enjoyed a successful career in illustration and graphic design in both Ireland and New Zealand where she lived from 1992 ~ 2000. Simone maintains it was the quality of light in the southern hemisphere that provided her with the impetus and inspiration to pursue her professional career in painting.

Today Simone is based in her Gallery in County Wexford, where she continuously develops and evolves her extensive and diverse range of subject matter for audiences around the world. From iconic Irish city and country scenes, quirky cats, nostalgic brand art, fish and birds, home interiors to seascapes, Simone executes beautifully captivating art works of unique charm and character.
