Multi charm sterling silver Island Link necklace by Martina Hamilton

The Island Link Collection is inspired by the discovery of my ancestral links to a tiny island called Dernish, off the west coast of Sligo. This necklace has sculpted loops and rods of precious metal, joined by a simple and elegant 4 bell chain. The different charms are symbolic of the links and connections we share with others in our lives, and with the heritage which shapes us.

About the Artist

Jewellery designer, artist and founder of The Cat & The Moon, Martina Hamilton has been creating award-winning collections from her Sligo studio for over thirty years. Her work is inspired by the wild beauty of Ireland’s northwest coast—shaped by light, landscape and a deep sense of place.
