About the Artist

Martina Hamilton is widely known as one of Ireland's leading contemporary jewellery designers. She is also the owner of The Cat and The Moon - showcasing Irish craft - and Hamilton Gallery.

Martina is a graduate of Fine Art from ATU Sligo, where she studied sculpture and ceramics. After graduating she studied goldsmithing and went on to set up her jewellery brand.

In recent years she found time to explore oil painting, and discovered a passion for texture and colour, creating landscape en-plein air. She has exhibited her paintings in several solo and group exhibitions appearing in several group exhibitions which has led to this collection of giclee prints.

These prints are inspired by the land and seascapes of her Sligo home, located along Ireland's Wild Atlantic Way.
