About the Artist

Inspiration for Catherine Bradshaw comes from her passion for nature – specifically the awe-inspiring landscape of her home near Northern Ireland’s majestic Mourne Mountains. She somehow embodies the romance of that immense landscape in the delightful simplicity of the artworks she creates. Twigs, pebbles, glass, fabrics, the found minutiae of her Mourne environment are lovingly arranged in images of sublime charm humour and goodwill.

Her unique pieces express beautifully observed moments of narrative through the slightest of touches.
