No two are the same of these individually fused glassed Star Suncatcher Decorations by Kings Forge glass. Each star is the creative work of Grace Brennan and comes supplied with a coloured ribbon to hang, decorated with little multi coloured stripes lying on a base of clear glass. When the sunlight catches it, it glimmers; a delightful way to brighten up your window sill.

About the Artist

One foggy night late in 2003, Grace Brennan came upon a derelict building for sale in a somewhat remote area outside the town of Castleblayney in County Monaghan. After more than two years of house-hunting, the ‘For Sale’ sign seemed to shine like a beacon in the fog.

She went back to see the forge again the following day, and six months later it was hers. Grace learned the premises had once been both home and a forge for a man named Frank King and his wife Kathleen; a thriving blacksmith’s business, and local landmark. It had fallen into dereliction after they passed away. After two years of work on a tight budget, the house was ready to move into, and the day came when once again smoke could be seen billowing from the chimney of King’s Forge.

It wasn't just a home for Grace but had also been renewed and revived as a working studio forge where Grace creates her stunning colourful fused glass designs
