Nebula Circle Pendant on 2 Bell Chain in Hallmarked Gold

An open circle of beautiful hallmarked 9 carat solid gold is threaded freely on an elegant 2 bell 9 carat gold chain trace chain. The circle is entwined with a continuous rivulet of binding gold. Random droplets of gold gather here and there on the circle, as if raindrops, winding their way around a tree twig.

Our Nebula collection is a meditation on cycles of nature, from incredible forces that create a star or a world, that forged the gold from which this piece is created, to the most random and minute that see an Atlantic Ocean mist condensing on a hazel wood twig. How the cycle of our lives can be entwined and enriched with loved ones and friendships we gather around us is deeply encapsulated in this simple beautiful collection.

About the Artist

Jewellery designer, artist and founder of The Cat & The Moon, Martina Hamilton has been creating award-winning collections from her Sligo studio for over thirty years. Her work is inspired by the wild beauty of Ireland’s northwest coast—shaped by light, landscape and a deep sense of place.

Every design begins with her connection to the landscape. The movement of the tide, the texture of stone, the shifting light—all find quiet expression in her jewellery, handcrafted in precious metals and made to be worn, cherished and passed on.
