"A small limpet shell, worn to a delicate ring like structure by the relentless motions of the Atlantic tide gave rise to this collection. To my eye it was like the sea, vast and all as it is, had still taken the time to sculpt these tiniest shapes, these small random irresistible details" says designer Martina Hamilton of the moment the Shell collection began to take shape in her mind.

About the Artist

Jewellery designer, artist and founder of The Cat & The Moon, Martina Hamilton has been creating award-winning collections from her Sligo studio for over thirty years. Her work is inspired by the wild beauty of Ireland’s northwest coast—shaped by light, landscape and a deep sense of place.
