The shells I picked with my daughters one afternoon on a beach in North Sligo gave rise to this collection. I was struck by the connections the girls had with each other as they became engrossed in the joy of beach-combing..

About the Artist

Jewellery designer, artist and founder of The Cat & The Moon, Martina Hamilton has been creating award-winning collections from her Sligo studio for over thirty years. Her work is inspired by the wild beauty of Ireland’s northwest coast—shaped by light, landscape and a deep sense of place.
