Shore Solid 9 Carat Gold Earrings set with Cultured Pearls

Afternoons spent beach combing along the Sligo's wild north Atlantic coastline have given rise to several collections by Martina Hamilton.

In this instance fragments of scallop shells found in a rock pool gave rise to these delicate, strikingly lustrous fan shaped earrings. The sea is further celebrated with the inclusion of 3-3.5 mm cultured pearl on each earring, an adornment straight from the sea itself.

About the Artist

Jewellery designer, artist and founder of The Cat & The Moon, Martina Hamilton has been creating award-winning collections from her Sligo studio for over thirty years. Her work is inspired by the wild beauty of Ireland’s northwest coast—shaped by light, landscape and a deep sense of place.
