Contemporary handcrafted drop earrings in hallmarked solid gold

These tall elegant drop earrings are inspired by Sligo seascape and landscape where I live. The tall fan shape is given undulations and texture reminiscent of a quiet evening tide shimmering as it works its way up a Sligo shoreline. The vanishing point of a setting sun is suggested by the piece gathering towards the top.

About the Artist

Jewellery designer, artist and founder of The Cat & The Moon, Martina Hamilton has been creating award-winning collections from her Sligo studio for over thirty years. Her work is inspired by the wild beauty of Ireland’s northwest coast—shaped by light, landscape and a deep sense of place.
