This celebratory piece is depicts St Brendan’s voyage in a curragh to America, centuries before Columbus. Brendan is the patron saint of sailors and travellers.

This is an original design carved by Studio co-founder Kathleen Smyth. She drew inspiration from an 1,000 year old standing stone. Created in Ireland by the Wild Goose Studio in Kinsale, County Cork.

Each piece is handcrafted by the makers at the Wild Goose Studio using ceramic resin cold cast pourings polished and finished with pure bronze. Perfect gift for those with an interest in Irish Culture and history.
