Star of Bethlehem, nap-at-noon, summer snowflake, sleepy dick, eleven-o'clock lady, grass lily, all popular folk names for a beautiful five pointed white flower. Popular legend speaks of fragments of the Christmas star of Bethlehem falling to earth and taking root.

While the star flower is well known for its tendency to open for the midday sun - and also to close if the day suddenly grows cloudy or dark - the petals of this stunning pendant in hallmarked sterling silver will always be open, gathering light and charming the eye with its lustre and scintillation.
