Irish handmade necklace in hallmarked sterling silver

Sligo - Sligeach in Irish - means the shelly place. This piece in hallmarked sterling silver is inspired by random patterning waves rolling ashore on a Sligo beach. Once the sea has ebbed away rivulets of water flowing off the sand will softly texture it with ridges and lines. The idea is picked up again in the softly textured ridges of shell fragments clustered at the tidal mark, and by the rugged outcrops of shoreline carved by the relentless Atlantic.

About the Artist
