"Sometimes, a design appears fully formed, needing no alteration. The Wild Irish Rose is one such inspiration, cherished in its natural state. My role was simply to capture its delicate beauty in precious metal. The soft petals came to life with textured ripples, while touches of solid gold at the center draw the eye, just like the wild rose nestled in Irish hedgerows on a summer day."

About the Artist

Jewellery designer, artist and founder of The Cat & The Moon, Martina Hamilton has been creating award-winning collections from her Sligo studio for over thirty years. Her work is inspired by the wild beauty of Ireland’s northwest coast—shaped by light, landscape and a deep sense of place.
